Virtual Space – unique place for meetings
In the scope of the intellectual output 2 of the project, an in-depth focus group was conducted at the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources on Thursday, 10th of February 2022. Nine participants from administrative, pedagogical, research groups and three students joined their efforts in a two and a half hours workshop in the Mozilla Hubs Virtual Space (available at: https://hubs.mozilla.com/zPubm3f?hub_invite_id=TbEr9bS). The interview within the Virtual Space was impressive for both participants and moderators. It took some time for the participants to become familiar with the Virtual Space, but once they managed to control their selected avatars, they experienced it as a welcomed dynamic tool for such occasions. The latter found the preparatory phase crucial and challenging due to various options offered by the Virtual Space, room settings, and a special experience with facilitating the interview along with the simultaneous management of JamBoards. Without question a unique experience for all and definitely not the last one.

As a part of this project, our consortium partner, MATE- Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (former Szent István University), conducts an online survey on the transition to online education from organizational aspect during the first outbreak period of COVID-19 pandemic.
The survey focuses on the experience of higher education management and international office staff members.
