Erasmus+ Programme: KA226 Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness
Project title: COVID-19 pandemic as a “opportunity window” for the transition towards new and more inclusive internationalisation through virtual mobility.
Project Nr: 2020-1-CZ01-KA226-HE-094453
The COVIMO project presents an "opportunity window “ for change in tertiary education, triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is suitable for innovations in higher education practices, and its main objective is to use the synergy of the network of cooperating universities to reflect and support the transition towards new forms of online learning in readiness for any future situation necessitating intensive use of online educational and supportive activities.
The project focuses on life sciences and the related disciplines in relation to the pandemic, appertaining to the research and online education in higher education, thereby providing the background for the preparation of a set of various scenarios considered from different national contexts - a manual of the best practices of the transition towards online education and the development of learning and training materials for the staff and students. The project does not only reflect these experiences but will additionally provide certain guidelines - especially in respect to life sciences, which traditionally focus on a classical style of education. All these activities will result in the preparation of virtual mobility tools.
